The Symposium will be held at the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center, in the center of CUA's campus. To see a printable PDF map of campus, click here. Visitor parking is available in the Columbus School of Law underground parking garage, subject to gate hours. The entrance to the garage is on John McCormack Road.

By Car:
From the North:
Travel I-95S towards Washington and take the I-495W (Capital Beltway) exit (27-25) towards US-1 (College Park/Silver Spring). Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto I-495W for one mile. Take the MD-650S (New Hampshire Avenue) exit (28B), towards Takoma Park. Follow MD-650 4.6 miles into the District of Columbia. Turn left onto North Capitol Street. Travel 1.9 miles and merge right onto Irving Street. Follow it 0.3 mile and turn left onto Michigan Avenue. The Catholic University of America is located next to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, .01 mile on the left.

Travel I-270S to I-495E (Capital Beltway). Travel I-495 5.8 miles and take exit 29B onto MD-193E (University Boulevard) towards Langley Park. Follow MD-193E 1.9 miles to MD-650S (New Hampshire Avenue). Take MD-650S 1.3 miles into the District of Columbia. Turn left onto North Capitol Street. Travel 1.9 miles and merge right onto Irving Street East. Follow it 0.3 mile and turn left onto Michigan Avenue. The Catholic University of America is located next to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 0.1 mile on the left.
From the South:
Take I-95N to I-395N (exit 170A on the left) towards Washington. Follow I-395N 13.1 miles to the end. Turn right onto New York Avenue (US-50). Stay to the right and bear right onto M Street. Travel 0.4 miles to North Capitol Street. Turn left and follow North Capitol Street 1.7 miles to Michigan Avenue. Turn right on Michigan Avenue. The Catholic University of America is located next to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 0.1 mile on the left.
From the East:
Take US-50W to the first District of Columbia exit at South Dakota Avenue. Follow South Dakota Avenue. 1.3 miles and turn left onto Monroe Street. Travel Monroe Street 2 miles to its end at Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Michigan Avenue. The Catholic University of America is located next to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 0.1 mile on the right.
From the West:
Take I-66E to the Constitution Avenue (US-50E) exit. Follow Constitution Avenue 1.6 miles to 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and follow it 1.5 miles to Rhode Island Avenue. Turn right onto Rhode Island Avenue and follow it 1.3 miles to 4th Street. Turn left onto 4th Street and follow it 0.9 mile to Michigan Avenue and the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The Catholic University of America is located next to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on the right.
By Train:
If you are arriving by train, you may take a taxi for approximately $15, or metro directly from Union Station to the Brookland-CUA metro stop.
By Plane:
From BWI:
Bus: WMATA buses run every 40 minutes from BWI to the Greenbelt metro stop on the green line. Buses run 25 times each weekday and 21 times on Saturdays and Sunday, every 40 minutes. From the Greenbelt metro station, you can catch a Branch Avenue-bound train to Fort Totten. Change trains to a Shady Grove-bound red line train. The Brookland-CUA stop is one stop from the Shady Grove station.
MARC trains: MARC Trains provide service to the BWI Rail Station, where free shuttles serve the airport terminal. The MARC trains stop at Union Station, where there is a stop on the Washington DC metro red line. The Catholic University of America is the third stop from Union Station in the direction of Glenmont.
Amtrak: Amtrak trains provide service from BWI airport to Union Station on the red line in Washington, DC.
Taxi: A taxi from BWI to The Catholic University of America costs approximately $79.
From Reagan National/DCA:
Metro: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport’s metro stop, located on the yellow line, can take you directly from the airport to CUA. Take a yellow line train north in the direction of Georgia Ave or Fort Totten. At Gallery Pl.-Chinatown, change trains to a Silver Spring- or Glenmont-bound red line train. Brookland-CUA is the fifth stop from the train-change at Gallery Place. From Reagan to CUA, the journey lasts approximately 45 minutes and costs from $1.85 or $1.15.
Taxi: Taxi fare is approximately $15.
Car: From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, follow signs to I-395 towards Washington. Merge onto the George Washington Memorial Parkway/GW Parkway North and go 1.6 miles. You will merge onto I-395N toward Washington: drive 3.6 miles, following I-395N until it terminates on New York Ave NW. Turn RIGHT onto New York Ave NW. Very soon after (appx 0.1 mile), turn RIGHT onto M St, NW. Drive two blocks. Turn LEFT onto North Capitol St NW: drive approximately a mile and a half. Turn RIGHT onto Michigan Ave NE: drive 0.7 mile. The Catholic University of America will be on your left at the intersection of 4th St NE, Harewood Rd NE, and Michigan Ave, NE.
From Dulles:
Bus: The Washington Flyer Coach Service will take you from Dulles Airport to the West Falls Church Station on the metro for $9 one way and $16 round-trip. From the West Falls Church station on the orange line, take a New Carrolton-bound train on the orange line or a Largo Town Center-bound train on the blue line. Change trains at Metro Center to a Glenmont- or Silver Spring-bound train on the red line. Brookland-CUA is the metro stop that serves the Catholic University of America.
